The Bathurst Logo Making Committee (BLMC) have recently put forward an outstanding new logo to represent the city and all that it stands for. The logo will reportedly feature portraits of iconic Bathurst figures, Paul Toole, Graeme Hanger and Grant Denyer.
The decision to include these icons has been well received by Bathurstians, who have given it the thumbs up. Brian Lo, a long-term Bathurst local, said he thought the logo was a fantastic representation of the city. “It’s a real credit to the BLMC, they’ve put in a lot of hard work obviously and it seems to have paid off. Better than their last effort that’s for sure!”
Additional features of the logo will include the world famous Mount Panorama, a V8 Supercars fan, The Oxford Hotel logo, the Subway logo and the logo of the Eastern Advocate. It is believed that these iconic symbols and places will bring the Bathurst community together as one, creating a peaceful harmony for us all to enjoy.
The logo is set to be unveiled early next week, meaning it will be ready just in time for Christmas.
